is the durabrand dual-screen car dvd player a good brand? wal-mart sells the durabrand dual screen dvd player and the polaroid dvd player. i am trying to find out if durabrand is a good brand name or should i stick with polaroid. the durabrand has a lcd-tft screen which is better than the polaroid lcd screen, but is that enough reason to choose it?

How do i fix my sansui in car dvd..? I have a sansui san7030 in car dvd dual screen system. the dvd player screen will turn on, and it will attempt to load the discs, but everytime i out a disc in, it says no disc, or disc error.... does anyone know what could be wrong, and if yes, do you have any idea's on how to fix it? ps: its brand new, used it once, got it for chirstmas.

I have an Element Portable DVD dual screen player-model E750-DPD? Can I hook Playstation 2 up to it? The main screen has a separate digital out and av in hole in addition to these three to connect to the second screen-DC out, IR link, AV out. The second screen has only av in ir link, dc in-all which connect to the first screen. The player came with an av cable, one side connects to the main screen digital out. The other end has 3-red,yellow,white-but they can't connect to PS2-is this where I need a separate adapter? If so, what? I'll bet Radio Shack will have what I need, they always do! Thanks so much in advance. I am travelling with two little boys this weekend and this will save my sanity on the long car-ride if one can watch a movie and the other can play a game!!!! Dual screen portable DVD player with battery? Does anyone know where I can find a dual screen portable DVD player with battery? Our current one stopped working and I cannot find one with a battery for the main screen anywhere. We like to bring the main screen on airplanes with us which is why we need the battery. Car DVD player 12v power adapter wont fit in my 12v slot?!?!? I got a Venturer Dual screen DVD player for my car as a Christmas gift.. The requirements are a 12v thing... where the cigarette lighter thing goes... it's a 12v, but I can't get the thing to fit! Anyone else had this issue? How the hell do I make it fit? I've tried gently squeezing the metal prongs on the side of the adapter (that's what wont go in) but I'm afraid if I squeeze too hard I will crush the fuse inside. Any ideas?

Any suggestion for a portable DVD player for the car that allows game system hookup? Would prefer a portable DVD system with dual screens, and would like to have it with a battery. I saw a perfect one by Venturer, an 8.4" dual screen system, but can't find it at any store online or otherwise. I tried to email Venturer, and message failed. I am at a loss for what other system might work. We want to take on a long road trip and let the kids hook up their game system for the hours on the road.

What does everybody think about the brand "dual" car stereos? I know they are a lower line than alot of other brands, but I found a pretty good deal on one with a 7" pop out dvd player screen on it. Portable DVD Player? So I'm taking a very long car ride with kids and was considering the dual screen dvd player for the car. Then I was thinking I should get a single portable to take with me other places. Any ideas on it? Which would be a better investment. Most singles I've seen are almost as much as the dual screen.

New radio installed on car is rejecting CD's, is it bad installation? ok so we bought a Dual DVD 7' touch screen radio its installed everything works fine EXCEPT that when we put a cd it rejects it back and the cd comes back damaged (scratched) what could be causing this problem? maybe bad installation or is it the radio ? because its the second radio in a row that does this we returned the 1st one we bought and got another one (same model) because of the same problem the cd is rejected ...so maybe we are doing something wrong what could it be guys?

Where can I find a 8 pin DIN cable? I have an insignia dual dvd player for my car, and the kids kept kicking the screens, and bent the cable. I figure I can call the manufacturer, but if I could get it online, it would be easier. The cable is about 10 foot (8 foot would work) male on both ends, and has three rows of pins. 2 on the top, and 3 on the second and third row. Thanks!

I want upgrade my car a bit (interior), a 2009 Malibu LTZ, where can I do this? Can I take it to the actual GM dealer where I bought it or do I have to take it somewhere else? My father bought me a 2009 Chevy Malibu for my 16th birthday. Its a really sharp looking car. Its gold with chrome doorhandles/ window trim. The inside has a dual color (brown/light brown) interior, like on the seats. Anyway, I find it kind of shabby that other mid sized sedans in the price range, being the fully loaded models have real wooden trim and navigation systems/ DVD players on the head rests. I want to switch out the cheap (fake) thin strip of wooden trim for actual wooden trim... like on the doors, around the radio/air conditioning settings and around the gear stick. How much would this cost? I want to upgrade my entertainment system, like screens in the head seats and a touch screen navigation system. I like road tripping to our beach home in Georgia with my friends, but I opted out of taking my car after the first time and went with my dad's SUV because of this. I don't understand why the Impala (only a few thousand dollars more than mine) has wooden interior and mine doesn't. I chose the Malibu over the Impala because I think it looks much better. It's really sharp on the outside and everything. I just don't get why I have to deal with crappy plastic trim. The steering wheel and gear stick are made of leather, but they're surrounded by crappy plastic. Anyway, thanks for any help :)

my stereo turns off at long lights....? i drive a 1998 Mitsubishi Galant. i have an Alpine IVA-W200 double DIN touch screen dvd player, A 550Watt amp powering 2 12" subs. i have dual (co.) speakers in the rear, and the stock speakers in the front. yesterday i put in a .5 farad capacitor. i know it isnt the greatest system, but it thumps... now my problem... i know i have everything wired properly, but when im stuck at a long light, my stereo head unit shuts off. the only thing i can think of is that being stopped, the idle isnt high enough to keep enough power going to the system, and it shuts off. so how can i fix this ? i am in between jobs and looking for a way to do this cheap. the ALT. is new, but OEM, and the battery isnt but 2 months old, and again, oem stats, not sure on the make of it though. i would like to upgrade to an optima, but thats in the future. so how can i fix this on the cheap ? mostly i wanna raise the RPMs. when i bought the car (used about 1 year ago) i refused to take it home because pulling out of the yard, it almost stalled (auto tranny). the other thing is my remote started, i have a viper system, security and remote started. it also doesnt keep the car running (i assume because of the low RPMs) any HELP is much appreciated...
