Will a multisession disk work in my portable dvd player?

I have a Sony portable player and i like to watch movies in it. I had burned two movies in a dvd-r (not the re-writable one) and I chose the "multisession disk" option. Now that there's still space left in the dvd, i want to add couple of movies more. Now if i burn 2 more movies, will that multisession disk work in my dvd player??

2. If you finalized the disk after the first 2 movies, then you've closed the disk to any more recording.
3. 2 choices: Leave it open and be able to add stuff, and be able to watch it on the same recorder, or Close it (finalize) so that you can play it on any player, but no longer add stuff. That's the advantage of RW. You can transfer finished data, erase the disc, transfer back the data plus add additional data, and then close it again.
